Stéphane Verdino’s bags practically merit their own dictionary subentry under the word minimalist: no lining, no ornament or logo, strict angles, with all the luxury poured into materials and geometry. Our favourite sacs at the new shop (10 rue Charlot) come in chrome or aluminum blues and make us think of old Helmut Lang before he jumped ship and swam to obscurity in Long Island.
