This week’s films with Rebecca Leffler

BROTHERS – a tragic and incredibly moving story about war and its effects on family. Jake Gyllenhaal + Natalie Portman + Toby Maguire make an amazing trio, held together by a fabulous script and Jim Sheridan’s mastery of family dynamics.

Also out, Guy Ritchie’s latest SHERLOCK HOLMES, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law as his side-kick Watson.

And DISGRACE, Steve Jacobs’ well received screen adaptation of J.M. Coetzee’s Booker prize-winning novel of the same name, starring John Malkovich.
