Vanités de Caravage à Damien Hirst’, an exhibition of 160 works – including painting, scuplture, photography, videos and jewellry – tracing the history of vanitas in art from Caravaggio to Damien Hirst, and including a print of badboy Hirst’s famous Diamond Skull (2007). [ 3 February 2010 to 4 April 2010. ] The Maison Européenne de la Photographie presents a retrospective of the work of American photographer Elliot Erwitt, a member of the renowned photography agency Magnum since 1953. Erwitt’s photographs are recognizable by their combination of humour and curiousity.
