Edition PAUMES is a small and dynamic family-run Japanese publisher, based in Tokyo. Their latest publication ‘Paris Family Style’ invites us in to the homes of 21 interesting Parisian families, with a tour of the home and a glimpse of the family’s everyday – their loves, their laughs and their favourite pass-times (gardening, jamming on the guitar, DIY, monopoly…). Beyond the family portraits are the interiors of their homes, each with a personality of its own, painting a picture of the family who lives there. With typical Japanese chic, Editions PAUMES explores the environments of those who stimulate the creative industries, and in so doing has produced a set of creative ‘bibles’ that overflow with inspiration. Despite the texts in Japanese, the collection has an ever-growing following in Europe and the US.
