ARTS: Duane Hanson at Parc de la Villette

[ 21 April 2010 to 15 August 2010. ] Parc de la Villette presents the last works of the renowned American sculptor Duane Hanson, in an exhibition entitled Duane Hanson, La Rêve Américain. Considered one of the key figures of American hyperrealism, Duane is known for his lifesize, and incredibly realistic, sculptures of people.

ART: Chris Avery at the Plateau

FESTIVAL: Les Pestacles at Parc Floral

[ 2 June 2010 to 22 September 2010. ] Part of the Parc Floral’s summer program, this festival is aimed at children and young people and includes concerts, readings, clowns, and an exhibition entitled ‘Nature et romantisme’. FILM: As far as the eye can see (A perte de vue) cycle at Forum des Images

AROUND TOWN: Fête Foraine at Jardins des Tuileries

[ 27 June 2010 12:00 to 24 August 2010 12:00. ] A carnival in the center of Paris – the Jardin des Tuileries is decked out with a Ferris Wheel, Trampolines, and all the carnival food you could eat (crèpes, gauffres, etc.) until the end of August.
