Losing Day is the latest born of the Noir Kennedy tribe. Across the street from Le Progrès in the Northern Maraism it is a pared-down, Berlin-esque add on to the dark, brimming Noir Kennedy on rue du Roi de Sicile. The old TV screens in the window à la Nam June Paik, and the 50-odd euros price-range make it an appealing stop for tourists and post-brunch hipsters. Remove the graves and Beetlejuice, add lots of dead stock (vintage 90s sportsgear and Black Lips concert t-shirts) and luminous white walls and tah-dah! You get a shop that could be called ‘Blanc Kennedy’.
