Yannig Samot, one of the partners of hip restaurants La Famille (18th) and Le Réfectoire (11th) is back with a new Parisian bistro. At the foot of the Sacré Cœur, on the dodgy fringes of Montmartre, the relaxed, minimal space, filled with low, 50s furniture, proposes plenty of chic formulas for the apéro: 2cl shots at 3€, a glass of biodynamique Champagne Fleury (7€), strawberry caipirinhas (7€), and a quality list of small producer wines. Angela (ex-Favela chic) is in the kitchen, turning out unsurprising but tasty French comfort food (two menus at 19€/24€). You might find roast shoulder of lamb for two, with mash, and always a selection of old-fashioned desserts. And on the third Monday of every month, there’s the ‘chef ami’ concept, where non-professional food lovers come up with a 10€ main/ dessert proposition for the happy crowds.

Au pied du Sacré-Cœur, aux frontières douteuses de Montmartre, l’espace minimaliste à l’ambiance détendue est aménagé avec des meubles des années 50, et propose plusieurs formules chic pour l’apéro: shots de 2cl à 3€, coupe de Champagne Fleury biodynamique (7€), caipirinhas à la fraise (7€), et une remarquable liste de vins de petits producteurs. Angela (ex de la Favela Chic) est en cuisine, et offre des plats français familiaux, sans surprise mais savoureux (deux menus à 19€/24€). Vous trouverez peut-être l’épaule d’agneau pour deux, avec sa purée et toujours une sélection de desserts à l’ancienne. Et le troisième lundi de chaque mois, il y le concept du ‘chef ami’, où des amateurs de cuisine non professionnels proposent un plat principal et un dessert à 10€ pour une clientèle comblée.

Le cadre est sympa, la cuisine aussi, c'est bien présenté, bon rqp, point négatif: trop bruyant, obligé de crier pr se parler, et les 2 serveuses qui ne se prennent pas pr de la m----, tu leur demandes une carafe d'eau (en + des autres boissons qu'on avait commandées) c'est comme si tu leur demandais le n° de leur CB... qu'ils ne prenaient pas d'ailleurs (la machine était cassée...), ni les tickets resto. Et qd tu leur fais la remarque les pauvres bibiches se sentent agressées... Vraiment pathétique ! Pour moi ce sera sans pourboires...

indeed the restaurant is tucked away, has nice decor, trendy clientele, and very good food... but i seriously experienced the WORST service ever of my two years living in paris. perhaps if the two waitresses had been mildly apologetic i would not have been so annoyed, but instead they literally smirked and rolled their eyes over our... warm bottled water, forgotten entree (brought some minutes later), forgotten side dish (arriving only after we had already finished our dishes), and eternal wait for the check (after 30 minutes we got up and went to the bar to faciliate payment). after such rude and incompetent service i would not return to this restaurant nor recommend it to my friends.

voui, sympa mai on se fait un peu bousculer par les deux services (traduisez, si vous dîner au premier, vous vous faîtes éjecter gentiment vers 22h30)...
Sinon, c'est trendy comme il faut ;)
