Where are good places to go and work out in Paris that are NOT Club Med? I feel like all of the workout rooms and gyms are loads of money for something that in the U.S. is so standard...

this seems to be pre-occupying a lot of my cake-guzzling friends...

surely someone knows of a gym (again, not club med) which isn't extortionate and is quite central? Maybe a pay per use thing?
