L’Osteria (10 rue de Sevigne, 4th. 01.42.71.37.08) – famed for being the best Italian restaurant in Paris – has changed hands. So Toni Vianello is no longer serving up his famous risotto.
I was not terribly impressed by the expensive food at L'Osteria, neither by the fact they gave our table away when we were late.
My fave Italians are Le Bistro Napolitain, 28 av Franklin D Roosevelt, 8th, for pillowy pizzas and lashings of flaked parmesan on the salads, and the hip and friendly Madonnina, 10 rue Marie et Louise, 10th.

Actually, Tony's been gone for awhile now -- they still do risottos, though..no big deal, there are still other top Italians like the Grande Venise..
