Multi-tasking hipsters Surface to Air opened a new space in the Marais last week. The big new flagship, next door to the gallery Yvon Lambert on the rue Vieille du Temple, presents their indie fashion collaborations with Justice, Solve Sundsbo plus a brand new range, a partnership with rockers Kings of Leon. In keeping with this collaborative spirit, the space also houses a shop-within-a-shop; Bless inaugurates with a pop-up store, open till April, selling a selection from their current range, plus a bunch of accessories, including their collaboration with Longchamp or their fur hammock…
(Btw, Surface to Air’s rue Charlot space now operates as the brand’s showroom.)

The masters of cool and intelligent design, fashion or otherwise, Bless chose to release their latest collection’s look-book BLESS N°36 Nothingneath within new magazine, Paris, LA. Ex-Purple magazine and a blogger (Do.Pé), editor Dorothée Perret comes from from a fashion styling background, and her voice is understated and poetic. The mag locates itself at the transversal point of culture between Paris and LA. Go figure. Both Paris, LA and Bless’ look-book were launched with a drink at the Brachfeld gallery, in the Marais, earlier this week. (Paris, LA is sold exclusively at Colette and at selected book stores, 8€.
