A colourful, new 42-room hotel designed by Matali Crasset has just opened in Paris, near Bastille. The modular, ecological ‘hi’ hotel ‘concept’ started back in 2003 with the Hi Hotel in Nice. Award-winning designer Crasset has developed a new type of hotel: practical and accessible, mixing up the codes of an urban hotel [...] [...] The Place Vendome’s emblematic address the Ritz Hotel hosts a weekend DJ program, that spills out from the Ritz Bar on to the beautiful indoor courtyard when it’s fine (6.30-10.30pm).
