The Maison Martin Margiela (now operating without its master, who departed sometime late last year) is about to launch their first ever perfume ‘untitled’, available exclusively at Colette from this coming Monday, and then via department stores in March, then everywhere else from 15 April. 55€, 30ml; 80€, 50ml; 100€, 75 ml. [...] Considering Martin Margiela’s notoriously reclusive reputation it’s quite funny to imagine celebrity – even in the arty packaging of R.E.M.’s front man Michael Stipe – collaborating with Antwerp’s fabled and fortressed avant-garde prince.
